Pole Climber

POLE CLIMBERTwo eyelets are fixed to slide up and down in slots at either side of the pole. The strings from the climber's hands and feet pass through these eyelets so that he may grip the pole as he shins up or streaks down. At the top of the pole, if the proscenium arch is tall enough, or the figure small enough, he may release the national flag as he stands on his head patriotically.
